Chapter’s Recovery Center offers substance use treatment to patients in Danvers, Massachusetts. We specialize in treating substance use and co-occurring disorders, providing comprehensive, state-of-the-art care. Our mission is to provide treatments and strategies that foster long-term recovery. We are dedicated to our mission and are looking for a Group Facilitator to join our team!
Your Role:
As a group facilitator for our Substance Use Day Treatment Program, you’ll provide therapy in a group setting to our clients and be an essential part of their recovery journey. You'll use evidence-based modalities and your clinical experience to help our clients manage their substance use disorders, while being part of a team with other caring professionals who share the same mission.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you will have:
- Masters Degree
- LMHC, LADC1, LCSW, MSW, LCPC, LMFT
- Experience and passion for working with clients struggling with substance use disorders
- EMR/EHR proficiency and strong clinical documentation skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Experience:
- Substance use counseling: 1 year (Preferred)
- Behavioral health: 1 year (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Conducting groups that support our program curriculum and services
- Facilitate therapeutic groups for individuals undergoing mental health and substance abuse treatment.
- Create a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages active participation and engagement.
- Develop and implement group activities and discussions aligned with treatment goals.
- Foster a sense of community and collaboration among group members.
- Monitor and address individual needs and challenges within the group setting.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals during group sessions.
- Documenting all necessary information in the EMR/EHR platform
- Collaborating with the treatment team to ensure quality client care
- Performing other duties as necessary
Schedule: Groups are held Monday-Thursday, 9am-10:30am and 10:30am-12pm, 1-
2:30pm, 2:30pm-4pm and Monday-Thursday, 5:30pm-8:30pm
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $100.00 per hour
