Duties
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff during peak hours to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety sanitizing procedures and quality standards
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize costs
- Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring flawless execution from setup to cleanup
- Develop and implement menu planning strategies that highlight culinary creativity while maintaining cost efficiency
- Monitor shift management activities, including scheduling, training new team members, and performance evaluations
- Enforce food handling protocols and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for staff and guests
Skills
- Proven supervising experience with strong leadership skills in high-volume settings
- Strong knowledge of kitchen management, food service management, and catering operations
- Expertise in inventory management, cost control, and food safety sanitizing procedures
- Skilled in food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary arts within fine dining environments
- Exceptional team management abilities with a focus on hospitality excellence and leadership in managing diverse teams
- Familiarity with restaurant experience including menu planning, shift management, and food industry standards
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining high-quality service standards
- Knowledge of bartending practices is a plus for creating vibrant beverage programs
