Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator/Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery and commercial trucks to support towing operations, construction projects, and equipment transportation. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and timely completion of all tasks while maintaining our high standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other construction machinery with precision and safety.
- Drive commercial trucks including dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, front loader trucks, and tanker trucks to transport equipment and materials.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Assist with construction site activities by handling concrete mixers, farm machinery, or other specialized equipment as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures during operation and transportation to prevent accidents or damage.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate logistics for equipment movement and project timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and transportation logs.
Experience
- Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and cranes.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Construction site experience is highly preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with various types of trucks including dump trucks, water trucks, tanker trucks, roll-off trucks, and front loader trucks.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
