Office Systems Installations (OSSI, Inc) is one of Nashville's leading office furniture installation companies and we are seeking candidates suitable for a Warehouse Lead. This is a position that is a higher-level supervisory role, supporting the Warehouse Manager, along with the operations staff in the office. You must be highly motivated with excellent work ethics, along with the ability to communicate effectively and be comfortable using basic technology platforms.

Basic Duties supporting the Warehouse Manager include:
- Manage the daily operations of the custom furniture warehouse, including the organization, storage, and retrieval of furniture and overseeing Asset Management
- Oversee and coordinate the receiving, stocking, and distribution of all custom furniture.
- Loading and unloading of glass panels & office furniture
- Ability to drive a company vehicle, as needed
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the warehouse, including safety and security of the facility as well as maintaining and managing the vehicles.
- Organize warehouse space.
- Develop and implement procedures for efficient and accurate inventory management.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure customer orders are fulfilled.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Able to achieve our daily productivity standards;
- Operate all equipment including pallet jack and forklift
Qualifications
- · Basic math skills (e.g. addition, subtraction)
- Good computer skills, detail orientated and problem solver (Asset management experience is a plus).
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 lbs, unassisted,on a regular, repeated basis
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing between 70 to 100 lbs.
- Ability to lift materials from floor to waist and shoulder height
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach for extended periods during a scheduled shift
- Ability to repeatedly handle materials throughout an 8–10 hour workday
- Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment with moving equipment and materials
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Self-motivated team player
- Able to be at work on time each day
- Previous warehouse experience
