Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology or related field required
- Current, valid Michigan School Psychologist licensure
- Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
- Strong understanding of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and IEP processes
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork with educators, parents, and outside agencies
- Capability to manage diverse caseloads across elementary, middle, and high school settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychoeducational evaluations for students, interpreting results to inform individualized education plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing expertise on student behavior, learning, and mental health
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultative services to students and staff
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop evidence-based interventions and supports
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education requirements
