Job Overview: Mobile Crisis Response QMHP
Serenity Solutions Healthcare LLC is seeking a compassionate and qualified Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to join our Mobile Crisis Response team. The Mobile Crisis Response QMHP will provide community-based crisis intervention services to individuals experiencing mental health and behavioral health emergencies.
This role requires a skilled professional who can respond effectively in crisis situations, provide de-escalation support, complete assessments, develop safety plans, and connect individuals with appropriate community resources and ongoing services.
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT: Mobile Crisis Response (MCR) Training is REQUIRED for this position.All selected candidates must successfully complete Mobile Crisis Response training as part of the onboarding process before providing mobile crisis services. Candidates must be willing and able to complete and maintain all required MCR competencies.
Responsibilities Include:
- Respond to behavioral health crises in community-based settings
- Provide crisis intervention, stabilization, and de-escalation services
- Complete crisis assessments and safety planning
- Support individuals and families during behavioral health emergencies
- Coordinate referrals and connections to community resources
- Collaborate with emergency services, providers, and community partners
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to agency, DBHDS, and DMAS requirements
- Participate in scheduled crisis coverage, including evenings/weekends as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Current QMHP credential in Virginia
- Experience providing mental health services preferred
- Must complete Mobile Crisis Response (MCR) Training during onboarding
- Strong crisis intervention and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in the community
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to pass required background screening
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with individuals experiencing behavioral health crises
- Knowledge of community mental health resources
- Experience with crisis assessment and safety planning
