Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Human Resources Payroll Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll while also supporting various human resources functions. Responsibilities includes but not limited:
- Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Calculate wages, deductions, and benefits for employees, taking into account any applicable overtime, leaves of absence, or other factors.
- Gather and maintain accurate employee information, ensuring alignment between payroll and HR records.
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including data entry, documentation, and communication.
- Maintain employee files and records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
- Generate payroll reports and analyze data to identify trends or issues, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Support HR initiatives and programs, such as employee benefits administration, performance management processes, and HR compliance.
- Stay updated on relevant payroll and HR laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and provide guidance to management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of payroll processes, taxation, and labor laws.
- Proficient in using payroll software and MS Office suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex payroll concepts to employees.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism, ethics, and integrity.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $55,000.00 per year
