About the Role
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to specialize in the startup and maintenance of diverse equipment related to air-conditioning, heating, ventilation, humidity control, and energy management systems. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in HVAC systems to troubleshoot issues, ensure optimal performance, and contribute to energy-efficient solutions. Your proficiency in refrigeration and HVAC service will be crucial in supporting our growing service business.
Responsibilities
- Perform startup, servicing, and preventative maintenance on a variety of HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
- Diagnose and repair complex issues within HVAC systems, utilizing advanced knowledge of refrigeration and control systems to restore functionality.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns, offering technical support, and ensuring satisfaction with completed work.
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed, including detailed descriptions of issues, repairs, and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to share knowledge, provide support, and contribute to continuous improvement of service processes.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of field experience in commercial heating and air conditioning.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial air-conditioning, heating, water source heat pumps, and rooftop packaged HVAC systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of refrigeration principles and practices.
- Valid EPA certification.
- Must possess and maintain a clean driving record.
- Experience with building automation and control systems.
- Prior experience as a manufacturing representative.
