A health system is seeking a Phlebotomy Supervisor in the Bronx, NY area to support inpatient and outpatient specimen collection while contributing to day-to-day laboratory operations. This role combines hands-on phlebotomy work with team support in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:
Perform venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks as needed
Support inpatient and outpatient phlebotomy operations
Monitor daily workflow and assist with productivity needs
Maintain laboratory inventory and supplies
Ensure compliance with infection control, quality assurance, and safety standards
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Formal phlebotomy training or certification
Five or more years of phlebotomy experience
Previous supervisory or lead experience in a hospital laboratory or phlebotomy department
Experience performing venipuncture across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations
Experience using Laboratory Information Systems
Desired Skills:
Experience managing both inpatient and outpatient phlebotomy operations
Experience creating schedules, conducting performance reviews, training staff, and managing workflow
