Lead Teacher Responsibilities:
Support creativity and learning for learners ages 3 months to 1 years old
Implement a developmentally appropriate daily schedule, including incorporation of transitions and age-appropriate learning opportunities
Provide supervision during activities
Create age and developmentally appropriate developmental lesson plans
Keep classroom neat and organized
Provide parents with progress reports (via Learning Genie)
Actively interact with children, demonstrating patience and warmth in all interactions
Actively engage with families to ensure parents/caregivers are knowledgeable about the child’s program
Lead instruction in small groups and 1:1 with support from an assistant teacher to differentiate instruction
Work collaboratively with assistant teacher to promote child health and safety
Essential Skills:
Requirements (Must have one):
Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or;
Currently enrolled in an Associate's Degree program for Early Childhood Education with 9 credits in E.C.E. completed (with plan to complete within 2 years) or;
Highschool Diploma with at least 5 years of experience in Infant Toddler Classroom.
