We are seeking a bread baker for 4 days a week.
We are looking for someone with experience in a commercial kitchen, with baking experience strongly preferred, though not strictly required.
The shift goes from 2PM to 12AM, and consists of mixing, forming, and baking bread in both our convection rack oven and our hearth deck oven. There are also different prep projects that need to be done throughout the week on a sort of 'as needed' basis.
No dress code, other than no offensive slogans and appropriate footwear (no sandals!) There will be other bakers in the kitchen that you will work with, and we like to encourage a friendly, fun environment where people can be themselves and feel respected both as coworkers and humans.
When on shift you can make whatever you want to eat for lunch, and enjoy any coffee or housemade drinks you like. You are also encouraged to enjoy cookies fresh out of the oven!
Starting wage of $21.75/hour is a minimum, open to starting higher for someone with bread baking experience.
