Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care across various clinical settings, including long-term care facilities, hospitals, assisted living communities, and home care environments. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by supporting their physical, emotional, and medical needs. The CNA will work closely with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and respectful care delivery.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence.
- Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately.
- Support patients with medical procedures under supervision, including catheter care, wound dressing changes, and basic life support measures.
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to proper manual handling techniques and using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.
- Document patient information accurately within electronic health records (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Observe and report changes in patient condition or behavior promptly to nursing staff or supervising clinicians.
- Assist with medication administration as directed by licensed healthcare providers and ensure proper documentation.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a caring environment that respects individual dignity.
- Follow infection control protocols diligently, including aseptic techniques during procedures.
- Support discharge planning or transition of care by educating patients and families about post-care instructions.
MUST HAVE:
- 1+ year experience in LTC - REQUIRED
- BLS (Must be AHA) - REQUIRED
Shift Timings : Days/Nights - (12 hrs)
Weekly schedule : 12 hr days/nights, 36-hour - Every other weekend

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
