Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of meals for residents and patients, including special dietary requirements
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
Assist with food ordering, inventory management, and menu planning
Collaborate with dietary staff to ensure efficient meal service and excellent customer satisfaction
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines when handling sensitive resident information
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager or Executive Chef
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in a food service or dietary setting, preferably in a healthcare environment
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
