Upon job offer, must complete job physical, Tuberculosis Testing),
- At least 18 years of age
- Food Service experience . Paid training provided
- Practice regular and predictable attendance
- Able to perform job responsibilities
- Able to perform various job positions and duties
- Flexible with various days and shifts (we operate 24/7)
- Available for emergencies (inclement weather, call outs, outbreaks of communicable illnesses)
- Able to work in a multicultural and diverse environment
- Must be able to speak, read and write English per NYS DOH 487.9 (13).
- Work cooperatively with other team members to maintain high level of care, respect, and communication with residents.
- Sound judgement, decision-making skills, customer service, hospitality, attention to detail, positive attitude, and maintain calm atmosphere
- Job Duties:
- Prepare and provide meal service and clean up. Ensure residents eat diet assigned by Dr.
- Ensure Kitchen is in compliance with all NYS Department of Health Regulations.
- Coordinate food ordering to ensure supplies are available for weekly menu.
- Report any changes in condition of resident to appropriate supervisor/manager.
- Respond to emergencies within a timely manner and provide care within scope of practice.
- Attend training sessions as required for enhancement of job skills
- Document observations and report in a complete and timely manner.
- Supervise hygiene and well-being of each resident.

- - Food preparation and cooking skills- Experience in food service and handling- Previous work in a restaurant or kitchen setting- Culinary background with knowledge of meal preparation- Knife skills for food preparation- Ability to cater and serve food- Dietary department or aide experience a plus- Menu planning and fine dining experience beneficial
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
