Altra is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support an outpatient behavioral health clinic in Tucson, AZ. This opportunity is ideal for an LPN who enjoys working in a patient-centered environment and is passionate about supporting individuals receiving behavioral health services.
The LPN will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide nursing support, assist with patient care coordination, and promote quality outcomes for individuals receiving outpatient mental health services.

- Provide nursing support for outpatient behavioral health services
- Assist with medication management activities and patient care coordination
- Administer long-acting injectable (LAI) medications as ordered and document administration accurately
- Assist with medication bridge requests to help support continuity of patient care when appropriate
- Support prior authorization processes for medications, including communication with pharmacies, insurance providers, and clinical staff
- Monitor and document patient responses, medication administration, and relevant clinical information
- Assist providers with maintaining accurate patient records and treatment documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding medication-related needs and follow-up care
- Collaborate with behavioral health providers, nurses, and support staff to promote quality patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with clinic policies, procedures, and applicable healthcare regulations
Altra is in immediate need of a LPN for an outpatient psychiatric clinic. This is position is Tuesday-Friday 8a-5pm with a 1 hour lunch.
