Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while accurately processing transactions. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in enhancing the experience for our customers.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed.
- Accurately process sales transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision.
- Perform product demos to educate customers about merchandise.
- Upsell products by effectively communicating promotions and special offers.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Stock shelves and ensure that merchandise is displayed attractively.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking as necessary.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Shifts: Friday 4 pm- 8:30 pm, Saturday 1:00 pm- 8:30 pm and Sunday from 4:00 pm- 7:30 pm. Extra hours available for the next 6 weeks.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and handle various tasks throughout the shift.
