Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Master Electrician to lead and execute complex electrical projects across various settings, including commercial, industrial, and renovation sites. Duties
- Lead electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities on construction sites, industrial facilities, and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical plans.
- Diagnose electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and power tools, then develop effective solutions.
- Install, test, and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and high voltage circuits in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Supervise and mentor apprentice electricians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with local codes, schematics, and safety regulations.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports, schematics updates, and project logs.
Qualifications
- Valid Master Electrician license or equivalent certification with proven experience in industrial and commercial electrical work.
- Extensive experience working on construction sites with a strong understanding of construction processes and renovation projects.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and schematics interpretation.
- Knowledge of NEC standards for electrical installations and safety practices.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation projects.
- Ability to use testing equipment such as ohmmeters effectively for troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Strong background in industrial electrician work combined with commercial electrician experience preferred.
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations is essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team on complex projects.
