Part-Time Shear Operator (1 Day Per Week – Flexible Schedule)
Join a small American manufacturer supplying precision gaskets to racers and engine builders around the world. At Hussey Performance, our products are used in everything from street performance builds to professional drag racing applications.
We are looking for a dependable individual to join our team one day per week on a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
- Operate a power shear to cut copper and gasket materials to size
- Flatten and prepare sheet metal for production
- Inspect material for quality and accuracy
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Assist with other light shop duties as needed
Qualifications
- Manufacturing or machine shop experience preferred, but not required
- Mechanically inclined with good attention to detail
- Able to operate a forklift
- Able to safely handle metal sheets and materials
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Schedule
- One day per week
- Flexible weekday schedule (we'll work with your availability)
- Approximately 8 hours per week
Pay
Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
