Join our dynamic automotive team as a Service Advisor/Writer, where your enthusiasm for cars and dedication to customer satisfaction will drive success. In this energetic role, you will serve as the vital link between our valued customers and our skilled technicians.
The $650 per week starts as a base salary. After 14 days of training and observation, Macuil Auto will determine the weekly commission to be added. A table will be provided to show the amounts needed to earn extra money by the end of the week.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Accurately document vehicle issues, perform auto estimating, and prepare detailed repair orders using computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools (Shop-Monkey)
- Explain repair recommendations clearly, including necessary services such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmission work, suspension, alignment, tire service, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and collision repair
- Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining transparency with customers about costs and services performed
- Maintain thorough records of service activities, parts used, and customer interactions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in auto service management or as a service technician with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures
- Knowledge of automotive systems including suspension, alignment, tire service, diesel engines, shocks & struts, brake systems, and air brake systems.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and confidently
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple service orders simultaneously
