Development and Donor Relation Coordinator
Position Summary
The Development and Donor Relations Coordinator is responsible for building, managing, and growing UWAC’s fundraising and donor engagement efforts. This role focuses on donor relationships, campaigns, corporate engagement, grants, and revenue strategy. The Development Coordinator acts as the primary steward of donors, sponsors, and contributors.
This role does not manage public communications or volunteer coordination and works closely with the Executive Director, Volunteer Coordinator, and Outreach & Events Coordinator.

Primary Responsibilities
Fundraising & Revenue Development
· Lead annual fundraising campaigns and giving strategies
· Manage workplace and corporate giving campaigns
· Cultivate relationships with individual donors, sponsors, and corporate partners
· Schedule and conduct donor meetings and solicitations
· Develop and manage donor stewardship plans
Grants & Institutional Funding
· Manage the grant calendar and submission timelines
· Coordinate grant applications, reporting, and compliance
· Track grant progress and outcomes in collaboration with Executive Director
Donor Management & Strategy
· Maintain donor records and reporting within CRM (including what donors care about to provide unique impact documentation).
· Analyze donor data to inform fundraising strategy
· Build systems for donor retention, upgrades, and recognition
· Develop sponsorship packages and fundraising collateral
· Build appreciate strategy along with Executive Director, incorporating giving tiers
Campaign & Event Support
· Recruit sponsors for fundraising events
· Support event fundraising strategy and revenue goals
· Track in-kind donations related to fundraising activities
· Attend community events and gatherings as assigned (ex. ETEC).
Collaboration & Reporting
· Coordinate closely with Finance & Database Administrator on gift reconciliation
· Prepare fundraising reports for Executive Director and Board
· Participate in strategic planning related to revenue growth
