The Cook's tasks include actively preparing meals, preparation, and sanitation in accordance with appropriate health department regulations. Assist in maintaining a positive physical and social environment for our residents. This position is working under a kitchen manager that actively cooks themselves.
Eligibility Requirements:
· Must be formally trained in food service or the culinary arts, or have equivalent experience in food service.
· Must be able to relate positively to residents and families and to work cooperatively with other employees and vendors.
· Must be capable of maintaining full-time attendance.
· Must meet all health requirements.
· Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation.
Physical/Sensory Requirements (with or without the aid of mechanical devices):
Walking; reaching; lifting; grasping; find hand coordination; pushing/pulling/ distinguish smells, tastes, and temperatures; read an write; communicate with residents and personnel; remain calm under stressful conditions.
Hours: 1st Shift- 6am to 1:30 / Second Shift- 12:30pm to 7:30pm-close.
Days : TBD 4-5 days week / Your Choice (Sunday 1st Shift is a required shift for this hire)
Availability to take on-call
Wage: $18.00 DOE (Willing to train the right person.)
