Southern Plains Equipment is hiring a Heavy haul truck driver for moving heavy equipment. Most hauls within 150 miles of San Antonio. Requires a minimum of 4 years heavy equipment hauling experience with permitted over size loads.

Job description:
· Driving different trucks depending on load size, Kenworth T800 with RGN or Landoll trailer, 11 axle set up, Ford F550 with gooseneck trailer or ¾ ton with gooseneck.
· Driving and loading equipment of all kinds: Dozers, Loaders, Excavators, Skid steers, Rock saws and more
· Properly securing loads
· Delivering and picking up equipment at jobsites, ranches and equipment dealers in and around San Antonio, Austin. Occasional hauls up to 350 miles from San Antonio incuding to Houston, Dallas or Odessa.
· This job will include fill in work around the yard between hauls. Washing the truck, simple truck inspections and maintenance. Moving equipment around the yard. Some equipment prep work, checking tires, inspecting and testing machines.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Class A CDL
· Requires a minimum of 4 years heavy equipment hauling experience with permitted over size loads.
· Good driving record,
· Must pass pre-employment drug test
· Positive / professional / willing to work personality
· Team player to get equipment ready, loaded and delivered
· Professional communication with customers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
