We are expanding our team and seeking Shipper Packers to support a Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) in Tucson, AZ.

Position: Shipper/Packer
Location: 3675 Brittania Dr, Tucson AZ 85706
Clearance: Must be able to obtain a VA Security Clearance. Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screening, including THC, marijuana
Hours Of Operation: Second Shift: 3:30pm-12:00am midnight, Monday - Friday and occasional mandatory and voluntary overtime during the week and on weekends
Pay: $19.40 as base pay and $.75 shift differential (for second shift hours worked) plus full benefits

Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of various items of stock in order to verify content.
- Selection of appropriate type and size of container.
- Insert enclosures in containers.
- Use excelsior or other material to prevent breakage or damage.
- Closing and sealing containers.
- Applying labels or entering identifying data on containers.
- Operates various types of packaging equipment.
- Must be able to read computer screens and use scanning equipment.
- Must be able to respond to alarms and alerts.
Qualifications:
- Have a high school diploma or GED.
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills with coworkers and staff.
- Have basic typing skills, PC computer skills, working knowledge of MS Office.
- Must read, understand, speak, and write English fluently
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds when required; push or pull up to 150 pounds on a rolling cart or using a pallet jack.
- Able to sit/stand for long periods of time (8-10 hours) and being able to lift totes weighing up to 30 pounds repetitively.
- Must be able to understand the precautions required when handling hazardous medications, materials, and hazardous waste.
