Pay: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour (based on experience)

A Morganton-based interior design and logistics company is seeking a dependable and motivated Furniture Delivery & Installation Specialist to join our growing team. This position plays a vital role in delivering, handling, assembling, and installing furniture and furnishings for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects throughout the Southeast.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck to transport furniture, fixtures, and design products.
- Load, unload, secure, and protect merchandise during transportation.
- Deliver and professionally install furniture, artwork, accessories, and related items.
- Assemble furniture and perform basic installation tasks on-site.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and inventory records.
- Inspect products for damage and report issues promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professionalism on job sites.
- Assist with warehouse organization, inventory management, and receiving.
- Work closely with designers, project managers, and logistics staff to ensure successful project completion.
- Travel as needed for project installations; occasional overnight stays are required.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely and confidently operate a box truck.
- Experience in furniture delivery, installation, moving, warehousing, or logistics preferred.
- Ability to lift and move furniture weighing 75+ pounds, with team assistance when necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, performing minor maintenance, and furniture assembly is preferred.
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight when project schedules require.
