INTRODUCTION
Dance Image is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to serve as the primary point of contact for our studio. This role focuses on providing an exceptional first impression by greeting customers, handling in-person and digital inquiries with expertise, and ensuring every patron has a positive experience. You will collaborate with the Director, Office Manager and other Customer Service Representatives to maintain a flourishing and welcoming dance environment.
To be a successful hire, you will need to have excellent customer service and organizational skills, motivation to help grow the business and prior experience in administration. You will need to be proficient in programs like Google Suite (docs, sheets, forms) and Microsoft Office with an ability to learn different online applications efficiently.
CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creates and fosters a welcoming atmosphere for all customers
- Controls email communication and correspondence
- Handles all in-studio student/parent needs and inquiries, providing information as necessary
- Keeps the director informed by reviewing and analyzing customer reports; summarizing information; identifying trends
- Aids in the on-boarding process for new customers and assists in customer retention by upholding proper follow-up procedures
- Creates and organizes office systems and procedures to maintain efficiency
- Assists with dance studio recitals and other event coordination
- Maintains dance studio cleanliness and order
- Assists the team with Picture Weekend (May)
- Assists the team with Dress Rehearsal and Recital Weekend (June)

Your role at the studio will be fixed, yet versatile so we value an employee who can keep pace with the changing and dynamic nature of a dance studio. JOB DETAILS: Salary: $17/hr
Hours: 12-20 hours/week
Location: 11230 Whittier Blvd, Whittier, CA 90606
SCHEDULE:
- Office hours are: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 3:30-7:30 pm & Saturday 8:30-1:30 pm. We are in need of someone for Monday, Wednesday and Friday and you will work closely with other Customer Service Representatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience -
- Office, 1 year (preferred) or
- Customer service, 1 year (preferred)
- Dance or dance knowledge
Education -
- High School diploma or equivalent (required)
- Some college/university (preferred)
Language skills -
- English: excellent grammar and syntax
- Spanish (preferred)
