Senior Safety Manager – Construction Location: Sarasota, FL
A national top-tier construction firm known for its people-first safety culture is looking for a Senior Safety Manager to lead safety across a Business Unit.
Must-Haves:
- 5-7 years of construction safety management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- Associate or Certified Safety Professional (ASP/CSP) certification
- Authorized OSHA instructor certification
- Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and hazard correction methods
What You'll Do:
- Lead the safety culture across projects within your Business Unit
- Develop and roll out project-specific safety plans based on risk alignment assessments
- Perform 6+ safety inspections per month with 100+ observations each
- Audit project teams and track trends using a safety management platform
- Coach project teams on hazard identification and corrective actions
- Ensure incidents are investigated, documented, and closed per company policy
- Deliver safety training (IIF, topical, playbooks, and more)
- Mentor and support Safety Managers on your team
- Support business development with client safety pre-qualifications and presentations
- Build relationships across the industry and represent the company at peer meetings

Pay: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
