Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas. The ideal candidate will ensure a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our guests, contributing to an exceptional hospitality experience. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a friendly attitude to uphold our hotel's reputation for cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish amenities such as towels and toiletries
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and perform floor care to maintain a spotless environment
- Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas as needed
- Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding sanitation, safety, and confidentiality
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing floors
- Familiarity with hotel operations and guest service standards is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled shifts
- Ability to handle industrial cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues
- Previous custodial or housekeeping management experience is advantageous but not required
