Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Smoke Shop Store Lead/Manager to oversee daily operations, drive sales, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. This role combines leadership, retail management, inventory control, and customer service to create a vibrant shopping environment. As the Store Lead/Manager, you will motivate your team, manage store processes, and uphold company standards while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all customers. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily store operations, including opening, closing, and shift management to ensure smooth workflow.
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to deliver outstanding customer service and meet sales goals.
- Manage inventory levels through purchasing, stock replenishment, merchandising, and inventory control to maximize sales opportunities.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) systems, cashiering activities, and bookkeeping to maintain accuracy and accountability.
- Implement effective marketing strategies and promotional displays to attract new customers and retain existing clients.
- Ensure compliance with all store policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements related to tobacco products and other merchandise.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and foster a positive shopping experience through excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- Proven management experience in retail sales or similar environments with supervising responsibilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers.
- Experience with inventory management systems, POS technology, purchasing processes, and retail math.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with a focus on employee orientation, training & development, and team motivation.
- Knowledge of retail merchandising, pricing strategies, cash handling procedures, and store management best practices.
- Ability to perform administrative tasks such as payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and record keeping accurately.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends as needed; previous assistant manager or supervisory experience is preferred.
