City Rescue Mission is seeking a compassionate and experienced Caseworker to provide direct support and case management services to individuals experiencing homelessness. This position plays a vital role in helping participants achieve stability, self-sufficiency, and improved well-being within a positive, Christ-centered environment guided by our Grace-Based Model.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct client eligibility screenings, needs assessments, and goal-setting sessions.
- Develop and maintain intake records, case plans, and client documentation.
- Enter and manage data in HMIS (Homeless Management Information System) and other required databases.
- Assist clients with securing income, benefits, housing, employment resources, and community services.
- Meet regularly with clients to evaluate progress, update plans, and ensure program compliance.
- Teach and reinforce life skills including budgeting, scheduling, personal hygiene, and self-sufficiency practices.
- Prepare discharge plans and transition documentation for program participants.
- Participate in community meetings and coordinate referrals with partner agencies.
- Compile monthly service reports and maintain accurate case records.
- Monitor dorm environments and ensure adherence to program guidelines.
- Support a positive, grace-based atmosphere for clients, staff, volunteers, and community partners.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsRequired
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in a social service or public service environment.
- Minimum 5 years of experience serving individuals experiencing homelessness or working within public housing systems.
- Strong computer and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, motivational, and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
- Knowledge of community resources and social service casework principles.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- English proficiency.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with HMIS or similar case management databases.
- Knowledge of housing, benefits, and supportive service programs.
- Experience working with diverse populations and vulnerable communities.
