Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using a Toast POS systems
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality and adherence to food safety standards
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage table settings, clear dishes, buss tables efficiently, and assist with food preparation when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food handling regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and basic math calculations
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining or nightlife venues like nightclubs
- Knowledge in working with POS systems
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Ability to multitask efficiently with effective time management in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
- Skilled in upselling techniques to maximize sales while enhancing guest satisfaction
- Experience with bussing, host/hostess duties, or food industry roles that involve serving or guest services
- Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling tasks
