Leasing Agent
Regency – Spring Valley, NY
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour, based on experience
Garden Communities is seeking a professional, friendly, and motivated Leasing Agent for our residential community, Regency, located in Spring Valley, NY.
The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to communicate effectively with prospective and current residents. This position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and being part of a busy property management environment.
Responsibilities
The Leasing Agent will assist with the daily leasing and administrative operations of the property, including but not limited to:
- Greeting prospective residents and providing information about available apartments
- Conducting property tours and following up with prospective applicants
- Answering phone calls, emails, and resident inquiries in a professional manner
- Assisting with applications, lease paperwork, renewals, and move-in procedures
- Maintaining accurate records and updating leasing information as needed
- Supporting resident relations and helping address resident questions or concerns
- Assisting with marketing efforts and maintaining a strong knowledge of apartment availability
- Working with the property manager and maintenance team to support daily operations
- Ensuring all leasing activity follows company policies and Fair Housing guidelines
Qualifications
- Prior leasing or property management experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills required
- Yardi experience preferred
- Must be organized, professional, and dependable
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment
- Basic computer skills required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
