The Machine Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of industrial machinery and equipment to meet production targets. This role plays a critical part in maintaining productivity, quality standards, and a safe working environment in a fast-paced industrial setting. Forklift operation is a required part of this position.Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor machinery to ensure optimal production performance
- Perform startup, shutdown, and changeover procedures
- Safely operate a forklift to move materials, load/unload equipment, and support production flow
- Inspect equipment regularly and report faults or abnormalities
- Maintain consistent production output while meeting quality standards
- Handle raw materials and support material movement throughout the facility
- Complete required production documentation and reports
- Follow all safety procedures, permits, and compliance standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous machine operator or manufacturing experience required
- Forklift experience required (certification preferred)
- Experience with industrial equipment such as conveyors, loaders, or production machinery is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic issues
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Capable of lifting, bending, and performing manual labor tasks
- Comfortable working in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including overtime as needed

- Use proper PPE at all times
- Identify hazards and report unsafe conditions immediately
Schedule
- Full-time
- May include 12-hour shifts, rotating schedules, and overtime
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
