Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Provide proof of passing the Paraprofessional Assessment Test or Proof of completion of 60 credit hours.
Participation in CPI Training and any additional training as required by the district.
Various Duties
Paraprofessionals assist students with activities that may include, but are not limited to, toileting, handwashing, and mealtime assistance.
Assist the teacher in implementing lesson plans, learning centers, small-group activities, and classroom/project preparation.
Supervise students in the classroom, on the playground, during meal/snack time, and during arrival and dismissal routines.
Performs other such duties/assignments as directed by the principal or designee.
Compensation: per CBA: $17.00 hourly
