Position Summary
The Dental Assistant plays a vital role in delivering excellent patient care and supporting our doctors and hygiene team. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping patients achieve healthy smiles.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and patients for dental procedures
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Take and process dental radiographs
- Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment
- Maintain accurate clinical records and charting
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
- Ensure patient comfort and provide exceptional customer service
- Support efficient patient flow throughout the day
Qualifications
- Dental assisting experience preferred
- Current Dental Assistant certification and radiology certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to patient care
- Experience with dental software is a plus
