Join our preschool team as a Teacher Assistant and help young students learn, grow, build confidence, and reach their individual goals. You’ll work alongside our classroom teachers to create a positive, supportive environment where every child has the opportunity to succeed.
What You’ll Do
- Work one-on-one and in small groups with students
- Help students work toward their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Assist with classroom lessons, play, art, music, sensory activities, playground time and more
- Encourage positive behaviors, communication and social skills
- Provide additional support to students who need individualized attention
- Assist students with daily needs, including feeding, dressing, toileting and mobility support Help create a safe, welcoming and engaging classroom environment
What You’ll Need
- High school diploma or GED
- Patience, dependability and a positive attitude
- Ability to stay active and engaged throughout the school day
- Experience working with children, individuals with disabilities or behavioral support is preferred, but not required
