Job Title: Tree Timmer / Groundsperson
Job Summary: The Groundsperson will be responsible for assisting the tree climbers in the removal of trees, trimming of branches, and general maintenance of trees and shrubs. The ideal candidate will have experience in tree care and a strong commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
· Assist tree climbers in the removal of trees and trimming of branches
· Operate and maintain equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and stump grinders
· Perform general maintenance of trees and shrubs, including pruning and fertilizing
· Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times
· Communicate effectively with team members and clients
· Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
· Experience in tree care or related field
· Ability to operate and maintain equipment
· Strong commitment to safety
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Physical Demands:
· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
· Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
· Ability to work in various weather conditions
