Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Cannabis Packaging Associate to support the final stages of production by packaging and labeling cannabis-infused edible products. This role requires efficiency, accuracy, and strict adherence to regulatory compliance and safety protocols. Timeliness and reliability are critical in this position, as our production schedule depends on a consistent and punctual workflow. The ideal candidate is a dependable team player with a strong work ethic, a sharp eye for quality, and a commitment to personal hygiene and cleanliness.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Punctuality and consistent attendance are essential
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrive on time and ready to work, maintaining a consistent and reliable schedule
- Package cannabis-infused edibles in accordance with company standards and state regulations
- Accurately weigh, label, and seal products with precision and consistency
- Perform quality control checks to ensure accurate labeling and compliance
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following strict sanitation and personal hygiene standards
- Monitor packaging material inventory and report shortages to a supervisor
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure compliance with all state and local cannabis packaging regulations
- Assist with product inspections and report any discrepancies or issues
- Meet daily production goals while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in packaging, manufacturing, or food production preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be 21+ and able to pass all state-required background checks
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a highly regulated environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Commitment to punctuality, reliability, and personal hygiene standards
