AM Industrial is looking for a full-time industrial mechanic. This position is part of a repair/rebuild team. The job is fast paced, team oriented and always growing. This position is responsible for industrial equipment/machinery repair, pneumatics (simple), mechanical fitting and assembly. Basic industrial mechanical understanding is required. The pay is commensurate with the experience.
Duties:
- Rebuild and replace bearings and drive assemblies
- Bolt and fit parts
- Work to complete the machine projects on a daily basis
- Test functions according to multi step protocols and procedures
- Replace/repair operating parts as necessary: testing motors, blowers, pulse systems, replacement filters and parts where necessary
- Relate new ideas and efficiency improvement to management for evaluation
- Must poses good technical skills, flexibility and adaptability to change
- Able to work in a warehouse and outdoors
- Industrial machinery skills
- Demonstrate experience with standard hand and power tools
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
- Work independently and with a team
- Valid driver license required
