Job description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guests, providing exceptional hospitality services, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, including floors, windows, and mirrors.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, and polishing furniture and fixtures.
- Restock linens, toiletries, and amenities in guest rooms.
- Manage and maintain cleaning supplies, ensuring they are stocked and properly stored.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of all areas, including public spaces and storage rooms.
- Provide exceptional hospitality services, including greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service, responding to guest needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff members to ensure seamless service.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and procedures to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring that all areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in custodial or housekeeping roles.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping management principles and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices and equipment.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred, but not necessary.
