Turnco Tool & Instrument, Inc. is a precision machining contract manufacturer in Georgetown, TX. We machine product for multiple industries, including Medical, Aerospace, Defense and Nuclear. Our capabilities allow us to service the High Mix/Low volume customers, and also offer production machining services thru cobots and pallet pools.
We are currently looking for an energetic CNC Lathe set-up/operator to add to our team. This person will be responsible for working with our programmers in order to set up and complete the machining operations in the lathe department.
Our work environment includes:
CNC Set Up/Operator, full-time, Pay dependent on work experience.
Output: Must be at least 18 years old.
Output: High school diploma or equivalent.
Output: Solid understanding of GD&T.
Output: Ability to use a computer and follow detailed instructions.
Responsibilities:
- This position will be responsible for taking job information from the programmers, setting up and operating a CNC Lathe and completing operations to specification.
- This position will require an understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T.
- This position must have the ability to perform in process inspection to ensure parts are within tolerances.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
