Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Lead Detail Technician to join our team! In this energetic role, you will oversee the cleaning, detailing, and maintenance of vehicles, ensuring each car meets our high standards of quality and presentation. As a leader on the team, you will coordinate daily operations, mentor junior technicians, and uphold exceptional customer service standards. Your expertise in car wash procedures, detailing techniques, buffing, and janitorial tasks will drive our commitment to delivering spotless, polished vehicles that impress every customer. Responsibilities
- Perform full-service mobile detailing on a variety of vehicles, including luxury and high-value cars.
- Uphold and maintain interior and exterior detailing according to Barwash standards and checklists.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and care of all tools and equipment.
- Communicate professionally with clients on-site and represent the Barwash brand with confidence.
- Identify service needs or quality issues and communicate them to management promptly, while supporting continuous improvement of detailing processes and quality control
- Follow all safety, vehicle-care, supply-use, and water-use protocols.
- Communicate effectively with customers to address special requests or concerns related to vehicle appearance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in car wash services, detailing, buffing, or custodial work; janitorial experience is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Knowledge of vehicle cleaning products, tools, and techniques including window tinting processes.
- Reliable transportation and consistent availability.
- 1–3+ years of professional auto detailing experience.
- Experience working with luxury, high-end, or specialty vehicles and custom paints is preferred
- Comfortable working independently in mobile environments.
- High integrity, strong work ethic, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Willingness to follow established systems, scripts, and service standards
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive cleaning tasks efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is desirable for operational flexibility. Pay: $19.00 - $23.50 per hour
