Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. This role is essential in executing various construction and renovation projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in carpentry and related trades, contributing to the successful completion of projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Perform carpentry tasks including framing, installation of doors and windows, and cabinetry work.
- Execute flooring installation, ensuring proper alignment and finishing.
- Apply caulking and stucco for weatherproofing and aesthetic purposes.
- Assist in drywall installation and finishing, including taping and mudding.
- Conduct tile laying with precision for both flooring and wall applications.
- Participate in water damage restoration efforts, repairing affected areas effectively.
- Engage in construction painting, preparing surfaces and applying paint as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience as a carpenter or laborer in the construction industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with electrical work is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
