Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing all surfaces to ensure a spotless environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms by cleaning sinks, tubs, toilets, mirrors, and replenishing toiletries as needed.
- Care for floors by sweeping, mopping, and polishing to uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Keep public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms tidy and well-maintained to enhance guest experience.
- Restock supplies including towels, linens, toiletries, and cleaning products efficiently and accurately.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure compliance with health standards and prevent accidents.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management for swift resolution.
- Use janitorial equipment properly and maintain it in good working condition for optimal performance.
- Support housekeeping management in inventory control and documentation of cleaning activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial work within hotels or hospitality environments is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and use of cleaning equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality cleanliness standards.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines consistently.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
- Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is essential.
