Summary
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be essential in ensuring the optimal functioning of our facilities through effective preventative maintenance and repair. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will utilize your mechanical knowledge and skills in reading schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Your expertise in MIG welding and electrical systems will enhance our industrial maintenance efforts. Additionally, your experience with CMMS and leadership will support a collaborative work environment, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of our operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on a variety of industrial machines and equipment to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical systems in production machinery.
- Use MIG welding and pipefitting techniques to repair or replace parts as necessary.
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
- Replace and repair defective parts, including motors, pumps, belts, and electrical components.
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints to guide repairs.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment in compliance with company safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with production staff to identify and resolve machinery issues affecting production schedules.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 years+ of experience working as a Machine Repair Technician or in a similar industrial maintenance role.
- Proficiency in MIG welding and pipefitting for industrial machinery repairs.
- Solid mechanical and electrical repair skills, with a proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong understanding of industrial safety procedures and protocols.
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance and identify potential issues before they cause downtime.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
