Position – CAD Technician
Client - Organo, Water Treatment Company
Location - Phoenix, AZ 85027 (Day 1 Onsite)
The CAD technician reports to the Engineering Manager and BIM Manager
· Maintains regular and reliable attendance. Work at the site trailer.
· Participate in daily BIM meetings to efficiently manage our space for EQ, piping, structure, and electric.
· Conduct field works with our Mechanical/Electrical Engineer and Subcontractor to clarify any issue.
· Create dimensions for system piping to 2D drawing connections, comprised of pumps, valves, filters, instrumentation, high-purity piping, etc.
· Assists with modifying and reviewing piping drawings.
· Conduct clash detections using Navisworks software.
· Applies basic knowledge of commonly used in 3D CAD Operation, Navisworks, within the Semiconductor industry.
· Assists with client presentations, fabrication drawing review, and contract administration.
· A minimum of 3 years of experience in drawing piping, structure, electric for Semiconductor fabrication, etc.
· Demonstrated proficiency in CAD and Computer-3D modeling software (Plant3D preferred, Revit, etc.), required.
· Ability to understand the designs of mechanical systems such as P&ID, Layout, Skids, Distribution Loops.
· Demonstrated computer literacy, required.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, required.
· Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, required.
· Experience with water treatment engineering processes, a plus.
· Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience required
