Bench Made Woodworking is a custom cabinetry manufacturer specializing in all types of high-end residential cabinetry and furniture. We are committed to delivering high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a skilled and passionate Cabinet Maker to join our team.
As a cabinet maker, you will be responsible for utilizing your skills to produce finely crafted cabinetry, furniture and wood products. Your duties would include
- Reading and understanding cut list and shop drawings
- Selecting quality materials and identifying the correct wood species to be used
- Milling rough sawn lumber into finished dimension
- Machinery setup and the use of all types of woodworking machinery and tools
- Prep sanding and final sanding in preparation for finish
- Produce projects with in a given and realistic timeframe
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience fabricating custom high end residential cabinetry
- Experience milling from rough lumber using jointers, planers and table saws etc.
- Knowledge of different types of fabrication techniques
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
