A County Property Tax Deputy Clerk performs a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. The clerk will also process property tax payments, provide information to the public, and maintain records.
The Deputy Clerk must be proficient at handling cash and balancing a cash drawer daily.
- High School Diploma or GED

One (1) to four (4) years of experience with cash handling, computer data entry, customer service and general office procedures.

Five years of general office experience preferred

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Daily sitting, standing, walking, stooping, bending, pulling, reaching, and lifting of books and files, weighing 40 pounds or more, in an office environment.
