Align Senior Care Consulting is seeking seasoned Directors of Nursing (DON) and Directors of Health Services to support our clients in Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Facilities on an interim basis. This flexible, project-based role allows experienced leaders to provide valuable expertise in senior care settings as independent consultants. Our consultants work as 1099 Independent Contractors and are compensated on an hourly basis.
Nurse Consultant (Registered Nurse) Responsibilities:
- Support clients with assessment, planning, development, and implementation of systems, processes, and other requested needs
- Identify and address training needs; conduct training sessions and in-services as needed
- Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant state and federal regulations, as well as industry standards and best practices
- Operate within the client-defined scope of work
- Ensure client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Minnesota, with the ability to obtain licenses in other states as required
- Previous experience as a Director of Nursing or Director of Health Services in Skilled Nursing or Assisted Living settings
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
- Flexibility and willingness to travel within the state
