ARC OF KONA is expanding and seeking 2 FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT SPECIALISTs to join our team to support and assist individuals with disabilities to find and maintain meaningful jobs in the community that meet their individual vocational goals.
The successful candidates will mainly work with clients living in the North and South Kona area and Kau District.
The successful candidates will assist participants/clients in achieving their employment goals by providing pre-employment transition services, discovery and career planning, job development, job placement, and job coaching. Experience in the field of disabilities and working with employers in the local business community is preferred. Must have excellent communication skills, interpersonal/people skills, critical thinking skills, ability to network and build relationships and partnerships, ability to work independently and as a team, and ability to analyze data and compile information for reports.
