American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for an acute care hospital Case Management position requiring a CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of hospital case management experience.

Caseload ratio of 1:20

Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–16:30)

Weekend rotation required based on department needs

Floating between all facilities within the state may be required

Active CA RN license required (pending license accepted, but must be active by start date)

Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital Case Management experience required

Experience in care coordination and discharge planning required

Hospital-based case management experience is required — outpatient or non-hospital experience is not sufficient

Epic EMR experience required

At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting

SSN and DOB required for consideration

Scrubs or business attire are acceptable dress code

First-time travelers are welcome to apply and will be screened by clinical staff

RTO is limited to no more than 7 days for the duration of the assignment

Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot live within 50 miles of the facility
